Cameo Colours Lacquers Polish Pickup (PPU) Shades from Mystery Bag

Hi guys! I hope you had a great weekend. It's my husband's birthday today, so we went out to dinner and shopped yesterday since we both had to work today. Also, bad news, the hurricane Florence is headed straight for us, so I'm not sure how much I'll be posting this week. I don't live extremely close to the coast, but the storm is supposed to stop right above us and stick around for many days through the weekend so there's a good chance for flooding. Yeah, not fun. Wish us luck. Anyway, tonight I have 3 Polish Pickup (PPU) shades from Cameo Colours Lacquers to show you. Bad news, these were all exclusives to PPU, so they aren't available anymore, but good news, I got these through the Mystery Bag on her website. She does her best to accommodate color or finish requests, but there isn't a guarantee. I left a note in my order saying I was interested in her PPU shades, and she was able to get me 3 of them. Shall we  get to some swatches?

Cameo Colours Lacquers Apocrypha (2 coats)

Apocrypha was available back in June and was inspired by the video game Skyrim. It's a medium dusty blue/grey crelly with blue, green, and silver flakes, UCC flakes, and silver holo flakes. Ugh, such a pretty polish. I only needed to use 2 thin coats for my photos, and it dried with no texture.

Cameo Colours Lacquers He's Worm Food (3 coats)

Up next is He's Worm Food from the May PPU and is inspired by Beavis and Butthead. I confess, I used to love watching Beavis and Butthead back in the day. He's Worm Food is a dusty periwinkle crelly with loads of UCC flakes, gold, pink, and purple shimmer and flakes, and red/blue/purple glitters. Whew, basically there's a lot going on and I love it. This is easily my favorite of the trio, but I like complex polishes.  I used 3 thinner coats this time, and it dried with texture due to the microglitter.

Cameo Colours Lacquers Roads Only Found With the Mind (3 coats)

Last, but not least is Roads Only Found With the Mind from the March PPU. It was inspired by the book N0S4A2 by Joe Hill. I've never heard of it, but I'm intrigued based on the synopsis. Apparently it's going to be a 10-part series on AMC, so I'll have to check it out. The polish is an off-white crelly base with red to green shimmer, silver, charcoal, and red flakes, and small black microglitters. Yet another unique and interesting polish! It was a bit sheerer, but built up well in 3 coats. It dried with a tiny bit of texture due to those microglitters.

There you have it! Even if you weren't able to pick these up during their respective PPU month, you may still have a chance of picking these up, and at a great price. I paid only $20 for 3 polishes, but you can also get 5 for $30. Cameo makes some beautiful polishes, so even if they aren't PPU shades, I'm fairly certain you'll be a fan of what you get. Stay up-to-date on all things Cameo Colours Lacquers by checking out their websiteFacebookInstagram, or Twitter pages.
