Noodles Nail Polish Anniversary Trio and Crelly Collab with Jodi's Polish: Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! I know, long time, no post. I've been enjoying working on my fitness, as well as my polymer clay hobby. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere; I have a few posts coming up soon. I know a lot of bloggers have quit the past few years, but don't worry, you can't get away from me that easily. Tonight I have the 2 collections releasing this Friday, June 21st from Noodles Nail Polish. The first is a 6-piece collection in collaboration with the awesome Jodi's Polish from YouTube. Make sure to check out her channel and while you're there, hit that subscribe button so you don't miss anything. The second set is an anniversary trio celebrating a whopping 6 years for Noodles Nail Polish! Congratulations, Natalie! Both sets will be available on Friday at 5 PM EST in the NNP website, and each polish will retail for $9.50. It's going to be a picture-heavy post, so shall we get to the good stuff?

Noodles Nail Polish Been There, Sun That (3 coats)

I hope you love bright colors, because we are starting with a pop of color. Been There, Sun That is a bright yellow crelly base with neon orange, pink, and white glitter with a little dusting of silver holo dust. It dries brighter on the nail than the bottle color. It's one of those things where topcoat brightens it up. The other blogger's photos looked like this as well. It's very summery, and I think it would make a great pedi color. It dries with some texture from the glitter, so make sure to use a thick topcoat, or 2 coats of a thin one. For easier removal, use a peel-off basecoat such as UNT, or use the foil method with 100% acetone.

Noodles Nail Polish Ice, Ice, Flakie (3 coats)

You know my love of flakies, so you can bet Ice, Ice Flakie is a top recommendation. It's a periwinkle blue crelly base with silver, pink, and lavender holo glittters, and rainbow iridescent flakies. The flakes aren't in-your-face, but add a beautiful depth to the polish. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity, and it, like the rest of the polishes, applied flawlessly. It dried with just a little bit of texture.

Noodles Nail Polish Peach Bum (3 coats)

Peach is always a color I worry about working with my skintone. I'm happy to report that I'm happy with Peach Bum. In fact, this is an unexpected top pick of mine. It's a peach crelly with various shades of pink, blue, and peach glitters. The pastel glitter really pops against the peach base. I used 3 thin coats for my photos, and it dried with texture from the amount of glitter.

Noodles Nail Polish Pirate's Druzy (3 coats)

Grey polishes are another weakness, so Pirate's Druzy is firmly placed in one of the top recommendation spots. It's a medium grey crelly base with lots of holo silver flakes, and gunmetal/silver holo glitters. Again, I used 3 thin coats for my photos, and this one dried with very little texture. The glitter and flakes are fine enough that things are smoothed out. So pretty!

Noodles Nail Polish Seize the Gray (3 coats)

Up next is Seize the Gray which is a light grey crelly base (that leans blue due to the blue glitter), with navy/charcoal/grey glitters, and fine blue microflakes. This is such a classic, elegant glitter crelly finish. The base leans more blue or grey depending on the light. I know I sound like a broken record, but I used 3 thin coats for my photos. If you have short nails, or use thicker coats, you very well may get away with just 2. It dries with texture from all the glitter, so you may need to double-up on topcoat if you want a glassy finish (this goes for the next polish, too).

Noodles Nail Polish Summer Blushin' (3 coats)

Last, but certainly not least, we have Summer Blushin' with is a pale pink blush crelly base with garnet/bronze/gold glitters and gold shimmer. Yet another polished and delicate shade. I'm so impressed with what Jodi and Natalie came up with together.

6 Year Anniversary Trio

Noodles Nail Polish 6 Years (3 coats)

YES! Congrats to 6 years, Noodles Nail Polish! 6 Years is a light lilac base with strong copper shimmer, and silver/copper/rose gold glitters. I wore this one for 4 days straight which tells you how much I love this one. You need this one. It was slightly sheer, so you'll likely need 3 coats for full coverage.

Noodles Nail Polish Sprinkled on Top (1 coat) over black

Sprinkled on Top was the only polish I used as a topper. One coat gave the perfect glitter coverage, but I don't think 3 coats would be enough to cover the nail line. I used it over a black base, but you can see it over other colors by watching Jodi's video. It has a clear base with pink/orange/yellow/green/blue/purple fine neon glitter with silver holo flakes and a touch of fine holo glitter.

Noodles Nail Polish Star Struck (3 coats)

Star Struck is labeled as a topper, but I thought it could be opaque on its own. Other bloggers used it as a topper, so there are pictures out there for a comparison. It's a clear base with gold holo glitter with red to green shifting shimmer. The shift is strong with this one! Definitely try it over black for that shimmer. It dried with a lot of texture if you use it on its own, so bust out that thick topcoat (but it's so worth it!).

Whew, that was a long post. You only have to wait a couple days to get your hands on these. My top picks are Ice, Ice, Flakie, Pirate's Druzy, Peach Bum, and 6 Years. These will be available this Friday, June 21st at 5 PM ET on the NNP website. Congratulations again to Jodi and Natalie! You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group.
