Piggy Paint Project Earth: Solar Power

Piggy Paint Solar Power (5 coats)

This is the last polish I have from Piggy Paint. Again, like LOL yesterday, there is hardly any odor at all to the nail polish which definitely wins it some points. Unfortunately, I always have problems with yellows. I think I only have 1 or 2 yellows that I have been happy with. Application problems and streakiness is pretty much a given if you want to wear yellow polish and this one is no different. I did use 5 coats here, but this was because I wanted to cover the nail line, so if you don't care as much about this, or it's for a child, fewer coats would definitely be fine. The pictures actually look like it covered more than it did since there was still a little bit of line showing. Solar Power is a highlighter yellow neon polish that reminds me of the color that Caroline Wozniacki during the US Open.

*thanks to the BBC for the picture*

So if you want to make a statement before summer is completely done, Solar Power will do it. Again, since these need more coats to cover, you may want to use their hair dryer tip. I was looking at their other colors, and several of them look very interesting.

I definitely need to try the blue and green for sure!

Piggy Paint was kind enough to include a discount code to my readers for 10% anything (including sale items) in the store! To use it, go to their website and use the code RIGHTON10L which is good until October 31, 2010. You can also follow them on Twitter or on Facebook where other sales and information can be found.
