Luxe Lacquers June Subscription Box Reviews and Swatches

*press samples*

Luxe Lacquers Bonnie (3 coats)

I wish this had a different name. When I see this greyed out blue, I don't think of the name Bonnie, do you? Either way, I love dusty blues like this, but you already know. Three thin coats were needed for full opacity, but if you have shorter nails I'm sure you could get away with two.

Luxe Lacquers Celeste (3 coats)

Celeste is a creamy light pink. This one was the sheerest of them all, and everyone will likely need 3 coats. This one was not streaky at all, thank goodness.

Luxe Lacquers Kate (2 coats)

Kate is medium grey creme. I was expecting this to be like Bonnie, but Kate was thicker and definitely more opaque. I only used 2 coats for the pictures above.

Luxe Lacquers Millie (3 coats)

And finally, we have my favorite, Millie. Millie is a peachy coral with tons of glass flecked shimmer. Just look at that second picture! Perfect color right now.

So, how does Luxe Lacquers work? It's a subscription box that you can pause, suspend or cancel at any time. You get 4 large (0.57 fl oz) bottles every month and it's packaged so beautifully. They come in zebra tissue paper with black grass paper and little diamond crystals that I kept to use for another package. Also, each bottle was in its own bag, so if anything happened to one of them, the polish wouldn't be over the whole box. At first you may be a little put off by the price which is $29.99/mo., but think about it; it's 4 large polishes and that includes shipping. That comes out to less than $8 a bottle shipped to you. All polishes are also 5 free. Right now you can get 25% off your first box until July 15th so you can try it out. The owner, Roxy, is really awesome and helpful as well.

Find more about Luxe Lacquers on their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ or Pinterest pages. So are you interested?
