Hi guys! I just got home from visiting family, and I just wanted to write a quick post about Zoya's Cyber Monday offerings. Zoya Summer 2017 Wanderlust Lipsticks: Kay, Kirby, and Kitty and SALE

Hi guys! I wanted to do another quick post today because Zoya has a fantastic sale on their lipsticks going on until tomorrow (June 16th and my Mom's birthday...Happy Birthday, Mom!). Zoya released three new lipsticks with this collection. They are all cremes with a very smooth finish. If you're sick of the matte lip trend, then these will be right up your alley. None are extremely pigmented, but you can add layers to get a deeper color. All swatches above show 4 passes across the skin...so yeah, not very intense. Here are some descriptions:

Kay is a warm, sheer red creme which was the second most opaque color
Kirby is a bright watermelon pink creme that was easily the most pigmented
Kitty is nude pink creme with some shimmer. It is the sheerest, and the shimmer doesn't really show up unless you really build up the color

Right on the Nail ~ Zoya Redbook Trio Swatches and Review: Marjorie and Earth Day Exchange 2016 Details

Hi guys! Sorry I was MIA on Friday, but I was in Atlanta for a fountain pen show. I even talked to a maker who makes his own acrylic resins and I recommended he add some holographic shimmer to them because nail polish fanatics would be all over that! If that ends up happening I'll let you know. Tonight I have a color from the Zoya for Redbook Trio that I received in my 2015 Mystery Box a few months ago. Stick with me and I'll give you the scoop on the Zoya Earth Day Exchange that started TODAY and goes through the end of the month. 

Marjorie is a deep fuchsia glass-flecked polish with lots of pink and blue shimmer. Zoya really knows how to do a glass-flecked polish (China Glaze is up there as well...when they actually decide to do them). I had no formula issues to mention, and it was opaque in just 2 coats. You can still buy this polish, but you have to buy the trio for $27. If I get the chance, I'll go ahead and post the other 2 colors which includes a cherry red creme and a gold glitter topper.

Just a quick reminder that the Rescue Beauty Lounge nail polish is 50% until 11 PM tonight (these retail for $20 so this is the only time I can afford to get a couple...cuz das expensive). Also, I don't believe I mentioned that there will be some CoverGirl Star Wars polishes coming later this year. Any thoughts? I'm not the biggest fan of CoverGirl polishes, but I'll be interested in seeing some swatches.

Tonight I have another color from the summer China Glaze collection called UV Meant to Be. It's a lovely, bright robin's egg blue creme that would also make a cute pedicure. It's bright, but not neon like most of the collection. I think this may have been the reason why the polish applied really well and was fully opaque in 2 coats.

The cheapest place to find China Glaze is through Transdesign for $3.25 each. Surprise, they also have the fall and Halloween collections available!
