OPI 2010 Burlesque Collection: Take the Stage

OPI Take the Stage (2 coats)

I've read a few reviews on OPI's Take the Stage and there were a few negative comments which really surprises me! I think this is a really nice change from the glitters. It is a coppery orange microglitter that I really enjoy with my skintone. If you're looking for a polish to wear to Thanksgiving this year, definitely consider this one. The application and formula was just fantastic on this one and it only needed 2 coats for full coverage.

I feel like I need to say something about my coverage of the Burlesque glitters. While I'm enjoying them, the amount of time and effort it takes to take it off really made me regret getting these...well, that's not necessarily true. I don't regret getting them, I just regret reviewing them right now. I am so stressed with writing my dissertation that any little thing can really annoy me. Glitters that are hard to take off annoy me so I don't feel like I'm giving them a real chance. Anyway, maybe this makes no sense, but I just wanted to get that off my chest.

In the coming weeks, my amount of posts will be decreasing as my dissertation due date gets closer. I hope you guys can understand! While I love this blog, the extra stress of posting is just not worth it at this time. Don't worry, I will still be accumulating photos and will be making up for it when everything is all said and done. :-D

Very pretty! I know what you mean about the Burlesque glitters - I got all but one of them, and while I love them to death, they are such a royal pain to take off. I use the foil method, but it's still a lot of trouble in my opinion. I have a feeling I will be wearing cremes for a while after I finish going through the glitters. :)
