Essence Colour & Go: Grey-t To Be Here

Essence Grey-t To Be Here (2 coats)

Hello hello! I'm sitting here watching the Project Runway All Stars show and the fun colors of the Nine West shoes reminded me to blog today! It's a disco challenge, so there are lots of colors and glitters which I love. I can't believe the weekend is over already. I watched Cloud Atlas last night and I completely hated it. I wish I had those 3 hours back. Did you see it? What did you think?

Grey-t To Be Here is another new color from the Essence Colour & Go collection at Ulta with their new bottles. It has a very light grey base with a surprising splash of pink and orange shimmer thrown in there. It didn't translate well in pictures, but you can definitely see that shimmer on the nail. I don't know how many times I can state that I hate their new brushes, but it really makes the application difficult. I've never had any issues with the application with the old Essence polishes, so I'm just going to blame it on the brush. You can find Essence polishes at Ulta for $1.99.

Awak! Don't even get me started on yet another brand of cheaper polish with great colors that we don't have where I live! I started treatment (again) for my leukemia so am in a large city so I COULD maybe get to an Ulta (thought it's a good 40 min drive in massive traffic jam - right now the old white cells are too low as are my platelets...so have to live in the old bubble - no sushi for me - only cooked foods. Nice shade, I can imagine the flecks in it are pretty. Oh and nope - not Cloud Atlas (not my kind of genera)..but a nice org who supports helping with the cancer hospital I am at has insider connections with a # of industries. They put on a private screening of Skyfall and Lincoln this weekend in a 'clean' room so those patients who could make it were able to see 1 or both - I saw both and really liked both. This Bond is darker than others. Lincoln (Daniel Day Lewis is going to definitely be a nom for a Golden Globe as well as I am sure an AAward.
