Zoya Sensual Fall 2019 Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

I know, I am so behind on my Zoya swatches. Eep! The good news is that Zoya rarely discontinues their polishes, and these are all still available on their website. I'll be working on my backlog to get back up-to-date. Oh, and I looked EVERYWHERE for my bottle of Vesper, but it's gone forever. I sincerely apologize for this; please feel free to Google this shade to see if you'd like to buy it. It's a super pretty color, so I am going to purchase it during the next sale for completionist reasons. The Sensual Collection is a 12-piece set that features cremes and metallics that are perfect for any time of year, not just fall. As you guys know, Zoya collections are large, so this is going to be picture-heavy, so we need to get to swatches.

Zoya Ashton (2 coats)

Up first is Ashton which is charcoal and sparkly, so you know I like it. LOL! It's a charcoal metallic with a scattered silver finish. It had a great formula in just 2 coats. I definitely think it looks better with a glossy topcoat as it dried a little dull.

Zoya Briar (2 coats)

Briar is one of those colors that is more interesting than it first appears. It's sort of a brick red creme with strong pink undertones. Remember when marsala was all the rage a few years ago? It looks a bit like that. It applied well in just 2 easy coats.

Zoya Eliot (2 coats)

Eliot is a deep navy creme that you need to be careful of getting polish on your cuticles because it will stain them. On the bright side, it did not stain my nails themselves. Be careful applying AND removing this one because if you get sloppy with the acetone, it will smear all over. Consider yourself warned. You're going to hear about how easy this collection was to apply many times. 2 coats.

Zoya Etta (2 coats)

Etta is super dark and super vampy. It's a deep purple color wine with violet micro pearl that adds some dimension to the polish. Another 2-coater that looks best with a glossy topcoat for it to really pop.

Zoya Foster (2 coats)

Who wants chocolate? I do! Foster is a medium chocolate brown creme that is quite rich in color. Perfect formula in 2 coats.

Zoya Joss (2 coats)

Do you think Joss looks good on me? Part of me thinks it's too pink for my yellow-toned skin, but other times I think it looks good. Anyway, Joss is a neutral nude creme with pink undertones. I expected to need 3 coats for this one, but yet another 2 coat wonder here.

Zoya Kinsley (2 coats)

Kinsley is similar, but different to Joss. It's a taupe brown creme with caramel undertones. Does this look better on me? It's not quite mannequin hands because the brown is darker. This is another one I expected to need 3 coats, but 2 was plenty. Rejoice!

Zoya Margaret (2 coats)

Margaret is a bright strawberry red creme with pink undertones. Nice and simple. Everyone needs a pinky red in their life. It was super saturated and needed just 2 thin coats for full coverage.

Zoya Michaela (2 coats)

Michaela is an unexpected top pick from the collection. It's a dusty medium lavender creme and I'm loving it! We have yet another 2 coat creme here.

Zoya Rashida (2 coats)

Rashida is one of those polishes that photographs amazingly. I mean, it just makes my nails look great. I'm not always a huge red fan, but if it looks good, it looks good. It's a medium red metallic with the same kind of micro pearl finish as Etta. This is 2 thin coats, and it applied like a dream.

Zoya Ripley (2 coats)

Last, but certainly not least, we have Ripley which is a medium boysenberry creme that verges on a jelly. This is another one that surprised me. 2 coats.

Again, I'm so sorry it took me so long to swatch these! My top picks have to be Ashton, Briar, Rashida, and Ripley. I was super impressed with the opaqueness and formula on these as they ALL were two coaters! Great job, Zoya! The Earth Day promotion will be upon us before you know it, so keep these in mind. Zoya polishes retail for $10 and you can find out more about them on their websiteFacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages. Keep an eye out for them in your local Ulta store if you want to see the bottles in person before you buy.
