Different Dimension Polish Con 2017 Exclusive Swatches and Review: Not in the Loop and Where You Bean?

Hi guys! It's Thanksgiving week! I'm not 100% sure what my posting schedule will be like later in the week, but I will be doing as much as possible. In other blog news, I got a new light box and new lighting! I have no idea how it's going affect my swatches, but I'm hoping they will only get better. I bet you thought I was done with the Different Dimension polishes, right? I'm not! Tonight I have 2 of Different Dimension's Polish Con exclusives which you can still purchase now! Shall we get a closer look?

Different Dimension Someday We'll All Be Memories Too Collection Swatches and Review: Dream Come True

Different Dimension Dream Come True (2 coats)

Hi guys! I can't believe it's Wednesday, and Thanksgiving is next week. It really feels like I was on summer vacation a few short weeks ago. What are your plans? Oh, and remember how I mentioned that I hope Frankie Muniz would win Dancing With the Stars? Well, he made it to the finals! My question is how Drew Scott is still in it? He is a pretty terrible dancer, so I don't get why people are voting for him. Anyway, Different Dimension released their fall collection back in September and I have Dream Come True to show you tonight. I've purchased from them on Black Friday for the past few years because they have the best Doorbuster polishes for $5 with other promotions throughout the day. Make sure to join the Portal to a Different Dimension Facebook Group for full details as they come out.

Dream Come True is a multichrome teal that flashes to purple, blue, gold, and green depending on the angle. Honestly, my photos don't even do it justice. I included a video bottle shot that hopefully works here. It's hard to see the base color in the bottle because of all the shimmer, but check the edges of my nails to see the teal. I didn't get staining with this one, but this is the type of color that tends to stain, so make sure to use a good base coat. I also recommend downward strokes (instead of any circular movements) when you remove it so it doesn't stain your cuticles. I've never had a problem with applying any Different Dimension polish, and this was no exception. I ended up using 2 coats for the photos above

This one is still for sale in the Different Dimension site and it retails for $12. If you don't want to miss out on anything Different Dimension, make sure to follow them on their websiteFacebook, or Instagram pages. Cheers!

Different Dimension Halloween 2017 Creepin' It Real Trio Swatches and Reviews

Hi guys! Happy Monday! I had a pretty relaxing weekend. We went to see the new Thor movie (it was great!) and did a little shopping at the the outlet mall. I got a super good deal on a new coat at Columbia, but that's pretty much it. I have some really exciting new collections I'll be posting in the coming weeks, so I hope you're able to stop back around soon. Tonight I have the 2017 Halloween trio from Different Dimension. Last year they featured a collection inspired by Edgar Alan Poe, and I remember I bought and reviewed a few of them (and loved them). Even though Halloween is over, these colors are still available for purchase, and are still perfect for fall and winter seasons.

Different Dimension Black Friday Mystery Polish #6: Welcome

Different Dimension Welcome (3 coats)

Hi guys! I know, I'm posting 2 days in a row! Your excitement may be short-lived because the polish I have tonight is no longer on sale. On the bright side, there are some other polishes from Different Dimension with the same iridescent glitter in different base colors.

Welcome was a Black Friday exclusive polish and is a murky green jelly base with that red to green shifting glitter. It's a jelly, so it was really sheer and I still had a tiny bit of visible nail line after 3 coats. While this is no longer for sale, the whole Intergalactic Collection features the color-shifting glitter shown here. If you don't want to miss out on anything Different Dimension, make sure to follow them on their websiteFacebook, or Instagram pages.

Different Dimension Intergalactic Collection Swatches and Review: Ghost of Jupiter

Different Dimension Ghost of Jupiter (3 coats)

Hi guys! So I got food poisoning last week. I had all intentions to blog, but it's really hard to do that with all that comes with food poisoning. On the bright side, I'm doing better and I'm ready to blog! Tonight I have a polish from the Different Dimension Intergalactic Collection called Ghost of Jupiter. Do you know what the Ghost of Jupiter is? It's a planetary nebula in the constellation Hydra which was discovered by the German astronomer William Herschel. Why can't you learn something new while painting your nails? I'm a little disappointed with my photos to be honest. I just don't think I really did this polish justice. It's such a dazzling color, but it just doesn't come across that way. At the same time, I'm my own worst critic.

With that aside, Ghost of Jupiter is silver holographic glitter polish with iridescent red to green shifting glitter in a clear base. This one is packed with glitter, so you can easily get full opacity without a base color. That said, it's definitely a thicker polish to apply. I didn't find the need to apply thinner, but you may need to, depending on your formula preference. I used 3 thinner coats for the photos above, but if you have shorter nails or use a heavier hand, you should be able to get away with 2. You may want to swipe the ends a few extra times since that's where I find I get some bald spots. Overall, this is such a gorgeous polish, and I don't think I have anything quite like it.

This is still for sale on the Different Dimension website, and it retails for $11. If you don't want to miss out on anything Different Dimension, make sure to follow them on their websiteFacebook, or Instagram pages.

Different Dimension Black Friday Mystery Polish #4: Harvest

Different Dimension Mystery #4 Harvest (2 coats)

I know, a Sunday post from me! Unfortunately the polish I have to show you was a mystery polish from the Different Dimension Black Friday sale so it is no longer for sale. This is definitely a polarizing color, so it may not be for you anyway. Of course I'm a huge fan of ugly-but-interesting colors like Harvest. It's a butterscotch color with gold flakes and a linear holo finish. While this one is not for sale anymore, Different Dimension tends to make colors similar to this one. There's one for sale right now called Peregrination which is a bit more gold and less brown, but is still in the same vein. There's also Knot On My Watch which is also on the site and for sale. I know it's really frustrating not having any other options for a color you want, so I hope these other options can help you out.

Different Dimension Halloween 2016 Poe Collection: Nevermore and Once Upon a Midnight Dreary

Hi guys! It's Friday Eve and I can't wait for the weekend. I don't really have any specific plans except to swatch the Tonic Holiday Collection that should be here in the next day or 2. There hasn't been such buzz about a new indie brand in years, and I can't wait to see what the buzz is all about. Tonight I have 2 of the 4 polishes from the Different Dimension Poe Collection. Fun fact: I am a huge Edgar Allan Poe Fan. I've always wanted to visit the museum in Baltimore, but thus far I haven't been successful in getting there. Anyway, with that how about we get to some swatches?

Different Dimension Winter 2015 Babes in Toyland Collection Swatches and Review: Toyland

Different Dimension Toyland (3 coats)

I hope those of you who celebrate Christmas had a great one yesterday! It was pretty low-key around here, but we have 2 more coming up this week with family who couldn't be around yesterday. I only bought 1 Christmas-y polish this year and it was on Black Friday from Different Dimension. They had a 30% off sale, but I ordered during the hour that they upped it to 40% off. Needless to say, I bought several more polishes than the one I'll be showing tonight.

Unbeknownst to me, Toyland was released by Different Dimension last year for their winter collection. It has a gold holo glitter base with red and green hexagonal and square glitter. It's so packed with glitter that I expected it to be fairly thick and difficult to deal with because that's pretty much the norm. I'm happy to report that it applied really well and was very glitter dense. I used 3 coats for the photos above, but you would likely get away with just 2. Doing macro photography shows every single detail so I did my best to cover all visible nail line.

Toyland is still available now for $10 on their website. If you don't want to miss out on anything Different Dimension, make sure to follow them on their websiteFacebook, or Instagram pages.

Right on the Nail ~ Different Dimension Swatches and Reviews: Evil Queen and Wars Would Never Start

Hi guys! I have a bad headache tonight so the post is going to be quick. The last 2 polishes from Different Dimension feature polishes that are currently not available, but don't fret,  there are still so many beautiful colors for sale on their website.

Right on the Nail ~ Different Dimension One Small Step Collection Swatches and Reviews: Apollo and Challenger

Hi guys! If you are on the east coast you may have had a snow day like I did today. I mostly just rested up, but it was still nice to have an unplanned 3-day weekend. Tonight is a great night of tv as well! The Grammy's, the Westminster Dog Show, and The Bachelor are all on tonight and of course start at the same time. Thank goodness for the DVR, am I right? Let's continue on with my swatches from the indie brand Different Dimension with 2 colors from the One Small Step Collection.

Right on the Nail ~ Different Dimension Fall 2015 Falling In Love Collection Swatches and Review: Buttersweet Symphony

Different Dimension Buttersweet Symphony (2 coats)

Hi guys! Happy Valentine's Day weekend! We don't really celebrate around here, but I know some people go all out. Actually, my husband and I go to IHOP on Valentine's Day and that has become a thing that started as a joke and has become a tradition. Tonight I have my last Falling in Love Collection swatch from Different Dimension called Buttersweet Symphony. Anyone else a fan of The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony? It's too bad the band broke up soon after the song became popular. Buttersweet Symphony is a bright holographic yellow-gold color that tends to look green at some angles. I like this polish, but I think it photographs even better for some reason. I dunno, just look at how interesting it is! It had a perfect formula and application in just 2 simple coats.

Right on the Nail ~ Different Dimension Fall 2015 Falling In Love Collection Swatches and Review: Let Your Gourd Down

Different Dimension Let Your Gourd Down (2 coats)

Hi guys! Since it's my first week back to work from my trip, I feel like the week is flying by (I had so much to catch up on!). Tonight I have another holographic polish from the indie brand Different Dimension called Let Your Gourd Down. It's a burnt orange color that I find interesting as a holo finish (which I love)! It's definitely in between brown and orange and reminds me of the color of pumpkin pie. The formula was perfect, and was slightly thicker than I Love You a Latte from Monday.

Polish prices from Different Dimension vary based on the type of polish, but tend to be around $8.75-$12 for a full 15 mL bottle. The whole fall collection is currently still available on their site for $10 each. You can find out more about Different Dimension on their websiteFacebook, or Instagram pages.

Right on the Nail ~ Different Dimension Fall 2015 Falling In Love Collection Swatches and Review: I Love You a Latte

Different Dimension I Love You a Latte (2 coats)

I'm back, and let me tell you, I am very happy! I was sick in Cambodia the entire time. Yeah, it was pretty terrible, but we ended up getting all of our sampling done despite my illnesses.

Tonight I have a new indie brand to the blog called Different Dimension. They've been around for awhile, but I just ordered from them for the first time during a recent sale. Right off the bat, I was really impressed with the bottles and label. There's just something about the white cap that gives it a modern feel, you know? The first color I have to show you is called I Love You a Latte from their Fall 2015 collection and is a medium latte brown holographic polish. It's definitely a linear holo, but it's not totally in-your-face holo like some brands like Cupcake Polish. The formula was slightly on the thin side without being watery at all, and only needed 2 coats for full opacity. I think this is such a beautiful neutral polish that is appropriate for all occasions.

Polish prices from Different Dimension vary based on the type of polish, but tend to be around $8.75-$12 for a full 15 mL bottle. I Love You a Latte is currently still available on their site for $10. You can find out more about Different Dimension on their website, Facebook, or Instagram pages.
