China Glaze Hunger Games 2012 Collection: Riveting

China Glaze Riveting (2 coats)

It's almost the end of yet another work week. I feel like I've had a pretty productive week, so I'm looking forward to a nice weekend. The only plans we have is a dinner date with some friends on Saturday.

I know, I know, the China Glaze Hunger Games collection came out ages ago, but I just bought some of them for cheap at Sally's recently. I hope you don't mind a few more pictures of them. I could go on and on about the movie and books, but I'll leave that for another post. Riveting is a gorgeous polish. Seriously, if you want something flashy, pick this one up. It is a bright orange polish with tons of gold glitter. It was extremely opaque and almost had full coverage in 1 coat (I always do 2 coats no matter what). The formula was slightly watery, but controllable.

I love that polish, it is so gloriously rich, bright, sparkly and warm. It is Summer in a bottle and I think that it will translate beautifully into Fall, too. :D

Why apologize for showing your beautiful polishes on your own schedule? Yes, the new stuff comes out and there are floods of posts, but it is nice to see them, later on, being worn and gushed over and featured again, often in new ways and combinations. :)

I wish I had waited to buy the HG polished that I did buy - all but this one that is. I don't wear any of em. I have worn this one and love it. The glass fleck is so great in this one and for me cause I like oranges that are not Halloween orange, this is right up my ally! I will be keeping AND wearing this one for years to come and I did buy a back up bottle - maybe even bought 2 I am thinking...but again if I thought I would even run into this shade left anywhere to show up on the fab Sally's sale at 50% off the already 50% off, I would have waited. This one was so nuts for when it first came out, I am sure like usually happens where I live nothing left to put on sale. I have to go way far away like 200 miles to even find good Sally's sale bins.
