Barielle Fall 2010 Style in Argyle Collection: Aura Angora

Barielle Aura Angora (2 coats)

Man is this one ugly mustard creme polish! While cruising the clearance section of Ulta, I found this gem sitting there for only $1.99. It looked so unique in the bottle I just had to take it home with me. Unfortunately, it just looks horrible on the nail. Horrible. I applaud Barielle for trying something different, but it's just not working for me. I often find Barielle polishes to be really thick and needing lots of thinner, but this one was just fine with great pigmentation. Too bad the color looks like my parent's 1970s kitchen linoleum from my childhood.

Yep,I remember that floor. It needs to be left in the 70's. :D

Your application is flawless, but that is one ugly polish. Not in an interesting, murky sort of way-just as you say 70's linoleum. (maybe with an avocado green stove/fridge combo)

This is one of my favorite polishes! Sorry it didn't work for you. Colors like this tend to look more flattering next to darker skin.

I adore OPI Ginger Bells and a few others similar. But agree -this one has a bit too much of baby poop green to it, that it just really shines UGLY!
