Noodles Nail Polish Spring 2021 Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi everyone! It's my birthday!!! No, nothing exciting is going on...I had to work all day and have no other plans, but I do get to see my parents later in the week! It's been a whole 10 months since I've seen them, and it will be so nice to be around someone besides my husband and tiny group of co-workers (no offense to them). If you had asked me last year on my birthday whether or not we'd still be in this position over a year later, I would have said no way. Alas, maybe we're getting just a little closer to the finish line.

Tonight I've got the new 8-piece collection (7 new and 1 throwback release) from Noodles Nail Polish to share with you. It features 6 crellies in various shades and 2 glitter toppers. This set will be available this Friday, April 16th at 6 PM EST on the Noodles website. All polishes will retail for just $9.50 each. This is going to be a picture-heavy post, so we should get going.

Cameo Colours Lacquers Spring 2017 Floral Feelings Collection Swatches and Reviews

*I bought this*

Hi guys! I'm back with a brand new collection from Cameo Colours Lacquers. I haven't reviewed Cameo's polishes before, but she did work with me to make a new Nibs & Nails polish which will be coming up shortly. I was so surprised with her work and quality of polishes that I just knew I had to get her next collection. Floral Feelings is a 5-piece collection (4 polish +1 glitter topper) releasing this Friday, May 5, 2017 on the Cameo website. Stay to the end of the post for more information and pricing. It's time for May flowers, so this collection is appropriately themed for spring wouldn't you say? Follow me after the break to see full reviews!

Polish 'M Nail Polish Swatches and Review: Stained Glass Window II + 30% Off Discount Code For You Guys!

Polish 'M Stained Glass II (2 coats) over 1 coat of a basic grey creme

Hi guys! I'm sure several of you feel the same way when I say that today does not feel like Wednesday! Unfortunately I have another polish to show you today that is discontinued, but don't worry because there is a bright side. Michelle from Polish 'M provdided me with a discount code for 30% off all items except for the Polish for Pit Bull colors. All you need to do is enter the code Right30 to get the discount. Did I mention she has her spring crellies on sale for only $3 for full-sized bottles? And that's not after using the discount, either! A few colors are currently out-of-stock, but I believe Michelle will be restocking some of them if a favorite is sold out.

Tonight I have Stained Glass II which is a densely packed holographic silver microglitter with multicolored circle, hexagonal, and square glitter. I used 2 coats over a simple grey basecoat because macro photos tend to show ever little bald spot, but I'm sure you'd be able to get away with using it on its own. I actually really like it either way. And how can you resist circle and square glitter? For the largest circular glitter pieces, you will need to do a little bit of fishing, but the rest of the glitter comes out easily in regular brush strokes. The silver microglitter isn't really gritty, but you may need to double-up on topcoat due to the amount of glitter in here.

Like I said, you can't find Stained Glass II for sale anymore, but she has some other gorgeous polishes that you can use that 30% discount code on. You can find Polish 'M on their storefrontFacebookInstagram, and Facebook Group (which I am a part of!) pages.

Right on the Nail ~ Polish 'M Swatches and Review: Neonista

Polish 'M Neonista (3 coats)

I feel really bad about showing some of these crellies from Polish 'M because they sold out and aren't for sale anymore. Do you guys want me to show the rest of them? The set consists of 3 white crellies that contain different types and color of glitter. Neonista contains neon circle glitter with tons of iridescent flakes. Have I stated how much I love circle glitter? I used 3 coats for the swatches above, but you could definitely put one layer over a white polish. I just happen to like the subtle hints of color as I added layers. I made sure to leave the polish upside down for at least 20 minutes before applying it and I had no need to fish out the glitter. It's hard to see from the pictures, but Neonista also has a ton of iridescent flakes that mostly flash blue. I must say that I completely adore this color, especially since it is an affordable price ($8).

Chloe & Bella Autumn 2014 Collection Swatches and Reviews Part I

*press samples*

Chloe & Bella Fall Dahlia (2 coats) over 3 coats Morgan Taylor Simply Spellbound

Wow, we're starting off with a glitter bomb! Fall Dahlia is a fuchsia and yellow based glitter polish in a clear base with tons of circle, hexagonal, square, and holo glitters. This is really dense, but you can still pretty much apply it like regular polish without too much dabbing. We're off to a great start!

Chloe & Bella Strawflower (3 coats)

Strawflower is an orange jelly with tons of gold holographic glitter (of different kinds) as well as gold stars. You can layer this over another orange, but I have 3 coats on here and it fully covered. There's so much depth to this one, and it may be one of my favorites of the collection. This is another polish that you can apply regularly without any dabbing.

Chloe & Bella Sunflower (2 coats)

Oh yes, I used this combination for Batman. You know this! Sunflower is a bright yellow glitter topper in a clear base with hints of light brown glitter accents. It even has some of my favorite tiny bar glitter! Like the rest of the polishes, this is a mix of different sizes and shapes of (mostly) yellow matte glitter. This was perfect application with 2 coats.

So far, the first half of the autumn collection is bright and fun! I love that Barbara uses flowers for her inspiration for collections. The polishes are a great value at $6.95 each in very professional looking bottles. You can find them on their websitePinterestInstagramTwitter, and Facebook pages, respectively. Check back tomorrow for the final 3 colors!

Hot Physics Chic Galaxy Collection Swatch and Review: U F Oh

Hot Chick Physics U F Oh (2 coats)

*press sample*

Happy Friday! I have another new indie brand to show you called Hot Chick Physics (love the name, of course). They offer lots of other products including jewelry and makeup if you're interested in their store. U F Oh is a deep purple jelly with pink, blue and teal glitters of various sizes and shapes. As I'm sure you noticed, the main focus are the large circle holographic glitter that look pink and blue as well. I thought this was going to be sheer and need a base, but this thing was really opaque for me. I only needed 2 coats for what you see here! I could use full strokes with the 2 coats, and the glitter actually stays put, and it was pretty easy to getting the circle glitter out. Overall, I'm really loving this polish. You can find them on their Etsy store, website, or Facebook. Their polishes run $8.50 for full sized bottles and $4.50 for minis.

Doctor Lacquer Review and Swatches: Purplemint For Your Thoughts and Fashion (Mg)azine

Doctor Lacquer Purplemint For Your Thoughts (4 coats)

Doctor Lacquer Fashion (Mg)azine (2 coats) over 2 coats Jessica Cosmetics Sharktooth

*press samples*

TGIF! If you celebrate Easter, happy Good Friday! Easter is my favorite holiday because it's finally Spring, you get to eat candy, eat food with family, and not have the whole ordeal of getting gifts for others (which is nice, but anxiety inducing).

Angelyn was kind enough to include a few samples with my order, and tonight I have Purplemint For Your Thoughts and Fashion (Mg)azine which comes from the Elements of Style collection (Fashion (Mg)azine only). Neither of these are thermals, so I figured I'd show them together. I made a big mistake with Purplemint For Your Thoughts. I thought it was going to be opaque enough on its own, but I really recommend you use a base with this one. It's pretty much covered in 4 coats, but working with the glitter would be much easier with a base and you also save some polish while doing so! It's an eggplant purple jelly with circular, square and hexagonal blue, white and green glitter. It's lovely, but now you know to layer it!

I learned my lesson for the second polish, Fashion (Mg)azine. I used Jessica Cosmetic's Sharktooth as a base which is a stark white creme and was perfect with this polish. It has a white jelly base with various pastel glitters in circle, square and hexagonal form. When I wore this, I got multiple compliments stating how Eastery it looked and I totally agree. It's just so cheerful and the glitter really stands out. Overall, I wish I didn't have to wear undies, but the glitters in these make up for that fact. Oh, and the whole science aspect of this polish has me swooning with magnesium (which burns white with flame....get it?).

You can find Doctor Lacquer on Facebook and Instagram to keep up on all the news and releases and their polish run from $8.49 to $11.99 in their store.

Two Gypsies Nail Lacquer Spring 2014 Collection: Tide Pools

Two Gypsies Tide Pools (3 coats)

*press sample*

Oh Mondays, how you kill me. I guess I should really say, oh science, how you kill me because that's the truth. Wouldn't it be nice if some things actually worked right the first time? I gloomily digress.

On the bright side, I have a happy color from the Two Gypsies Nail Lacquer spring collection (which is the last I have to show, but it's a 5-piece collection that comes out on April 4th). Tide pool is an open sea blue jelly with both circular and hexagonal glitter. The colors range from green, blue, gold and copper with large white stars. You might be wondering, "How long did she have to fish in there to get that many stars out?" Well, not too much, fortunately. I felt there was a fair amount of all glitter in there and it is well represented on the nail. You'd think there would be a problem with application with all that glitter, but no, no issues at all. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this collection. I love the mix of springtime themes and names and how there are some opaque jelly glitters included. Check out their Etsy website to pick these up, and follow up with a look at their Facebook page for pictures and more information.

Two Gypsies Nail Lacquer Spring 2014 Collection: Secret Garden

Two Gypsies Secret Garden (3 coats)

*press sample*

Oh.my.gosh. I am in love. Love at first site! As soon as I opened my package, I knew this was going to be a favorite. I think I might actually buy a full bottle of this when it comes out April 4th. Don't forget to set your calendars for this restock. It's a murky forest green jelly with both large and small circular, hexagonal and square glitter with tiny gold microglitter. This one has pretty much every color of the rainbow, but the base color keeps the colors a bit more muted, but also adds a ton of depth. I used 3 coats, but it was smooth and easy to work with even with all the glitter in there. You can find Two Gypsies Nail Lacquer on Etsy and Facebook.

Pipe Dream Polish Swatches: Twigs and Berries and Feeling Sweet

Pipe Dream Polish Twigs and Berries (1 coat) over 3 coats Sally Hansen Lemon Shark

Pipe Dream Polish Feeling Sweet (3 coats)

Oh, April, don't you have the sense of humor. Twigs and Berries is a polish for Prostate Cancer Awareness and $2 from every polish goes to Movember (which my husband also participates every year). It's a topcoat glitter with large blue circles, smaller pink circles, and a mix of smaller hexes and squares. I did have to fish a little to get the really big circles, but I had no problems at all with the other circle glitter (which is my favorite). It was also not too thick and had great glitter payoff and only needed 1 coat (and the fishing). I like when companies donate to a foundation and actually tell you how much is going towards it. I think it's great that Prostate Cancer is getting more exposure, especially since so many men get it. If you're on the fence on this one, just get it for the good cause. *I'll be reviewing the Sally Hansen polish soon*

The very last polish from Pipe Dream is called Feeling Sweet and also comes from the Lorde Gatsby collection. It's a blue jelly with large and small blue and white hexagonal glitter with fine purple flakes (if you look closely). I love the depth of this one, and I'm always a sucker for blue polishes. The formula was slightly thick, but nothing I couldn't handle, and needed 3 coats for full coverage. I like it, but it's not my favorite of all the polishes I got. Overall, I highly recommend Pipe Dream Polish. The shipping is fast, she keeps you up-to-date on things on Facebook and she has some great polishes.

You can find Pipe Dream Polish on EtsyFacebook, or Instagram @pipedreampolish. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

*These polishes were provided for a discount, but not free. As always, all reviews are based solely on my opinion. For my full disclosure, please see the side page*
